Program Overview

The VEINS (Venous Endovascular INterventional Strategies) returns as a hands-on, interactive course focusing on pulmonary embolism treatment, controversies in VTE management, management of superficial venous disease, and late stage venous disease. Addressing the challenges of preventing, diagnosing, and managing venous disease, The VEINS will explore the complexities of caring for a diverse and growing patient population.

NEW THIS YEAR

  • The VEINS will feature an additional half-day with breakout hand-on sessions on the latest in pulmonary embolism technology, compression therapy techniques, endovenous therapies, and vein center management.
  • Blue Sky Breakfast: The VEINS Innovation Summit is the latest addition to the 2019 course. This Monday morning session will highlight the latest venous treatment technologies, and is sure to be a game changer in venous disease care.

Course directors Raghu Kolluri, MD, and John Kaufman, MD, will head up a multidisciplinary faculty as they present a comprehensive analysis of critical issues facing today’s vascular specialists.

VIVA is excited to once again return to Wynn Las Vegas for 2019

After completing registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the accommodations booking page. VIVA has reserved a block of rooms at the discounted rate of $249 per night plus taxes and fees, which includes access to the resort fitness center, internet access for up to four devices, boarding pass printing, daily newspapers, and more. A charge of $50 per person per night will apply to each guest over double occupancy.

Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be accepted until September 29, or until the room block fills. The room block will fill up quickly, so registering and making reservations should be completed as soon as possible.
